Bachelors in Allied Health Sciences (Recognised by Govt. of Karnataka, Affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore)

1. B.Sc : Optometry
2. B.Sc : Anaesthesia Technology
3. B.Sc : Renal Dialysis Technology
4. B.Sc : Medical Laboratory Technology
5. B.Sc : Imaging Technology
6. B.Sc : Operation Theatre Technology

Duration:
1.All the courses (Except B.Sc Optometry)
– 3½ years.
Lateral Entry – 2½ years.
2.B.Sc Optometry – 4 years
– Lateral Entry – 3 years

Eligibility:
Both Indian and foreign are eligible for admission.
-Pass in P.U.C. or 10+2 examinations (Compulsorily students have to study Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English)

or

-Pre-University Course from a recognised board with Para Medical Science as Vocational subjects (VHSE of Kerala is Eligible)

or

-Candidates with diploma from a Govt. Board in Para Medical Science are eligible for lateral entry.

Age Limit :
The candidate shall have competed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete this age on or before 31st December of the year of admission.

Admission:
The curriculum and syllabi for B.Sc Allied Health Science courses shall be followed as per the regulation prescribed by the RGUHS, Karnataka.
All admissions are subject to the eligibility conditions of RGUHS. All original certificates should be produced at the time of admission. Admission secured on the basis of false information supplied shall stand cancelled and the fees forfeited.

Admission Procedure:
The prospectus and application form can be obtained by paying cash or DD for Rs.500/- from the college (by post also) duly filled in application form should be sent to the Principal, Mangala College of ParaMedical Sciences , Vidyanagar, Post Pedamale, Neermarga, Mangaluru. The application should be accompanied by a demand draft for Rs.500/- (not refundable) in favour of Mangalala College of Paramedical Sciences , Mangaluru.

1.   S.S.L.C. or other matriculation certificates (10th, AISC, CBSE).
2.   Marks cards of the qualifying examination (10+2) or VHSE or Diploma Certificate).
3.   6 passport and 4 stamp size colour photographs.
4.   Character / Conduct Certificate.
5.   Birth certificate.
6.   Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC only).
7.   Transfer Certificate
8.   Migration Certificate
9.   Eligibility Certificate from RGUHS (for non-karnataka students)

Foreign Students: Nepal : Nepalese citizenship certificate and date of birth in India Almanac (A.D.).

Other Countries: Passport and students visa and date of birth in India Almanac (A.D.).

Eligibility Certificates: Students who have completed their qualifying examination outside Karnataka state should apply for an eligibility certificate to the RGUHS.

Migration Certificates: Candidates, who have passed their qualifying examinations outside Karnataka state should obtain and produce migration certificate.
