Code of Conduct for Student

  1. Every student admitted to and studying in this institution must understand the implications of the rules regarding attendance, discipline, examination, fee payment and strictly adhere to them.
  2. Students shall conduct themselves in a disciplined manner both inside and outside the campus.
  3. Every working day from Monday to Friday is divided into 2 sessions. The morning session commences at 9.15 am and concludes at 1.15 pm and the afternoon session extends from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm. The working hours on Saturday are from 9.15 am to 12.15 pm.
  4. Students should be punctual in attendance, submission of records, assignments and clinical postings.
  5. It is mandatory for the students to wear the prescribed college uniform and ID card both on campus and clinical postings.
  6. Whenever the students are given relaxation from wearing college uniform, they are expected to follow the formal dress code with the norms of simplicity, modesty and decency as per the college standard.
  7. A log book will be issued to every student and expected to carry it regularly for maintaining the record of their activities and movements.
  8. During class hours, students are strictly forbidden from loitering in the corridors and campus. Students are expected to be in the library during leisure hours.
  9. Students must attend the classes as per the timetable and refrain from being absent without parents’ endorsement.
  10. Whenever a student is absent from college for some reason not foreseen, on returning he/she is expected to produce the log book signed by the parent/ guardian without fail. In case of a long-standing illness, a medical certificate must be submitted.
  11. Students will not be allowed to leave the college campus during class hours without the prior permission of the class coordinator. The college is authorized to take action against those students who do not abide by this.
  12. Students’ attendance, performance as well as conduct will be taken into consideration while recommending them for merit certificates, scholarships and free ships.
  13. Students shall be allowed to organize or participate in picnics or tours only with the prior permission of the principal.
  14. Presents to mentors or celebrations in their honour are not permitted without the approval of the principal.
  15. Any student found to damage the college property will be fined and can face corrective actions.
  16. Usage of mobile phone and cameras are strictly forbidden inside the college campus. Coercive measures will be taken against those who violate.
  17. Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited. Students found guilty of indulging or participating in ragging would face disciplinary action for ‘gross misconduct’ which may result in suspension from the institution.
  18. Smoking, gambling (even without money at stake), consumption of alcohol, use and possession of drugs and narcotics are strictly banned on campus. Students found indulging in the use of corresponding things will be rusticated from the institute.
  19. Students are not allowed to take part in political activities directed against the authority of the lawful government.
  20. Students are not permitted either individually or in groups to hold activities or worship other than those authorized by the management within the campus.
  21. Every student is expected to strictly adhere to the rules and regulations of the institution. Failure to follow the ordinance will necessitate the management to take disciplinary action as deemed fit.
