International Student Cell

Objectives of the Cell

  • The international student cell committee is constituted with a purpose to take utmost care of international students during their stay, from the time of their admission to completion of their study.
  • To promote cordial student-student and student-teacher relationship.
  • The committee would work to ensure support and integrate international students in various events of the institution.

Functioning of the Cell

  1. Refer to the updated UGC guidelines for admission of international students periodically.
  2. Provide the details of international students admitted to B.Sc. and M.Sc. courses every year and coordinates with the related departments.
  3. Sensitize the newly enrolled international students on the existence, functioning and role of the cell and also share with them the mode of contact in case of grievance.
  4. Integrate International students into the college premises and activities without any obstacles.
  5. Address the grievance of international students with respect to academics, accommodation, admission, evaluation or any other issues during their stay.
  6. Provide the students with information about the local customs, language and civic facilities.

Members of the Cell

Chairperson : The Principal of the Mangala College of Allied Health Sciences as the Chairperson of the Cell

Coordinator : An experienced faculty to be assigned as the coordinator of the International Student Cell

Members : A mixture of 2-3 senior and junior female faculty to be assigned the roles of members

Student Representative : An international student of Mangala College of Allied Health Sciences
