Objectives of the Maintenance Committee

  • The committee’s objective is to correspond with the people responsible for the maintenance and monitor the quality of work and given time schedule of the job.
  • The maintenance committee is responsible for ensuring proper and regular maintenance of all of the institutional structures of campus.
  • It shall be also responsible for providing and maintaining a safe, orderly and respectful learning environment which will contribute to student and staff achievements and focus on institutional environmental issues in keeping with a safe learning/teaching environment.
  • The overall objective of the maintenance committee is to maintain the interior and exterior of institution campus building, the grounds and all equipment’s through preventive maintenance and repairs.

Functioning of the Maintenance Committee

  • Monitor regular maintenance in the institute on daily basis.
  • Monitor and plan major and minor repairs of equipment’s.
  • When equipment malfunctions or fails, the maintenance cell is responsible for carrying out corrective maintenance. This involves troubleshooting, diagnosing the problem, repairing or replacing faulty components and restoring the equipment to its operational state.
  • For the issue related maintenance, a register is maintained in which complaint is entered and the complaint is resolved on daily basis.
  • The maintenance committee conducts meetings to discuss about campus management and to take suggestions from higher level or management.
