Mangala College of Allied Health Sciences and Mangala College of Paramedical Sciences organized MICON’23 –Mangala International Conference on April 9th, 2023. The event was held in association with IQAC – Internal Quality Assurance Committee and was presided over by . , Chairman of Mangala Group of Educational Institutions, Mangalore, along with Vice Chairman . , and . , Academic Advisor of MGEI, Mr. Rajesh Mali, Secretary of MGEI, was also present. The Dean of Mangala College of Allied Health Sciences, . , and the Vice Principal . , were present.

Mrs. Sonu AS, an Assistant Professor, served as the event’s chairperson, and Ms. Priji P Lecturer was the event’s secretary. Ms. Rahana Ravichandran was the event’s student representative, and there were other event members..
The program started with a welcome note from Ms. Vichetha and Ms. Nidhi, who introduced the dignitaries and guests who were present. This was followed by a prayer song led by Ms. Stravya and her team, creating a serene atmosphere for the rest of the event.

Dean . gave a warm welcome address, expressed her gratitude to the attendees and introduced the purpose of the event. . , a Glaucoma and Phaco-refractive surgeon at Maithri Specialty Clinic in Mangalore, was the event’s chief guest. He gave an informative speech on the importance of eye health, emphasizing the need to take proactive steps to prevent eye problems and promote overall human vision and health. The event was graced by two guests of honor, . ,Associate Professor at Father Muller Medical College and practicing vitreoretinal surgeon at Nethrajyothi Retinal Centre, and Ms. Jijitha Prabha, Internship Incharge at Lenskart Academy.
